ملخص لمباراة توتنهام ويوفنتوس

FULL TIME: Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Juventus (agg: 3-4)

That’s it! Two goals in three second-half minutes have done for Spurs. The Italian champions are through to the quarter finals, while Spurs will have to concentrate on the FA Cup. Tottenham were magnificent in the first half, with Heung-Min Son particularly impressive. They looked in control until Massimiliano Allegri changed Juve’s shape midway through the second, and almost immediately the tie turned in the Old Lady’s favour. Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala were the goalscoring heroes, but Giorgio Chiellini was surely the man of the match, a colossus at the back, thwarting all attempts by Spurs to force extra time. This will hurt Tottenham now, but Juve’s experience in this competition showed in the end ... and should Mauricio Pochettino’s men make the top four of the Premier League again, perhaps this experience will stand them in good stead next year.

Tottenham vs Juventus: What Spurs must do in the Champions League clash to reach quarter-finals

Football Whispers have revealed just what needs to be done to ensure victory after 2-2 draw in first leg
AGAINST the odds, Tottenham Hotspur fought back from 2-0 down in their Champions League last-16 first leg tie to earn a thoroughly credible 2-2 draw away to Italian champions Juventus.
With the return fixture at Wembley Stadium next up for Spurs, Mauricio Pochettino’s focus will be on protecting their slender away goals lead and ensuring his side progresses to the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition.
This will be no mean feat, though. Juventus, although more renowned for their defensive prowess, have a squad packed with capable attacking talent and Tottenham will have to be at their best to keep them at bay.
Our friends at Football Whispers have taken a look at what Spurs can do to safeguard their away goals advantage.
Just 10 minutes into their last-16 trip to Turin, all seemed lost for Spurs. A rapid-fire Gonzalo Higuain brace – the first a magnificent volley from 18 yards, the second a low, thumped penalty – had given Juventus a 2-0 lead at the Allianz Stadium.
The Bianconeri have only lost once on home soil this season, a 2-1 reverse to Lazio way back in October and, incredibly, had only conceded five goals in 17 fixtures in their own stadium in all competitions up until that point. A Spurs comeback appeared desperately unlikely.
